Grateful Friday

Today I give thanks for...

A girl's weekend ahead. While the boys are away, we're enjoying a staycation.

A girl's night with my aunt this week. We celebrated our August birthdays and caught up. It was a nice way to spend a Tuesday night.

Lily had her first basketball game. It's all new to her...the plays and the rules...but she's giving it her all and I'm proud.

Anything is Possible by Elizabeth Strout. She writes the best characters. Characters that expose the good and the bad of humanity.

Memories.

Peanuts and Vince Guaraldi.

A big batch of taco seasoning. I do about equal parts except for the salt and hot peppers.

A big pan of homemade spaghettios and meatballs for Ted's cross country banquet.

Jack o' lanterns and groovy electric candles.

Peanut started sleeping in Lily's room this week. She was so excited that she agreed  to keep her door ajar.
