Long Overdue Grand Cayman Post

I think these pictures speak for themselves. Grand Cayman is a special place because of the island's beauty and because of of the warm, kind people who call this magical place home. Sharing this experience with my aunt will forever make this one of my best trips the highlights of which were swimming with sting rays and kissing one on the nose for 7 years good luck and snorkeling in the middle of the sea, a much needed massage early one morning, meeting Carrie and Cheryl, Maeve, Robinson, Papi, a torcedor who rolled cigars for Castro and many others in a past life. We ate delicious seafood at swanky spots, and blackened shrimp tacos and conch fritters at a local dive bar...dive as in scuba. We swam in the warm sea and watched the sun set from the beach or the balcony. The Kimpton Seafire was an amazing place to call home for 6 days. Our view from 814 was a 10. There were so many quaint spots to retreat to. The island chickens were charming, the rum cakes delicious, Three Women and a Kiln for souveniers and St Ignatius for Sunday mass happy local finds. The bougainvillea and other island beauts were stunning. The trip was the perfect smash up of go and see and do, and lounge by the pool and be. Now for your viewing pleasure...pinch me.
